    11The numbers (~ 4000) are not that high. There is no proposal and no word about roles on the wiki: [osmwiki:Tag:route=detour]

    3 Additionally, to `for-/backward` for the ways I find `start` plus `stop` on nodes. `fork` has only little use and for `guidepost` `sign` is probably better as at least in Germany, these are destination or simple road signs but no `information=guidepost` like the one in bicycle or hiking routes. Annoyingly, taginfo groups all `type=route`, so I do not get much information about detour routes from there ([taginfo:relations/route#roles]).
