Description
As JOSM shows and controls a lot of numeric parameters of the downloaded data ...what about some kind of windows with gamification (as Mapillary did) :
How many nodes do you did today?
How many ways you have downloaded you have contributed?
How much kilometers of relations did you do yesterday?
How many nonames/name do you put in the downloaded zone?
Which percent of the downloaded data is made for you?

Who uses JOSM is not a newbie, so I think these negative effects could be little. If it is customizable then you can play with these high quality changes, because you can choose which is best: quality or quantity in these cases

Replying to stoecker:
I can see positive effects, but also negatives (like useless unwanted changes - high quality changes nowadays take lots of time and only little adaptions).
My personal opinion is that in the early days of OSM that probably would have been helpful, nowadays the harm could be higher than the benefit.
Any volunteer research institute or university willing to find out what's true?
